Profile Don Peltier serves as Director – Government & Industry Relations for DCLI. In this role, he is a point of contact for the Company with external stakeholders such as regulators, legislators, trade groups, and the media. He strengthens DCLI’s relationships with government, industry, and other stakeholders. Don promotes DCLI’s Public Relations efforts, particularly at a state/local level, working with customers, port authorities, trucking associations, and other supply chain stakeholders. Mr. Peltier came to DCLI in January of 2013 as Director of Operations, West Coast. He was instrumental in designing and launching the Pool of Pools in Los Angeles/Long Beach. This was the largest single chassis pool ever put into operation. It accounts for approx. ½ of the gate moves of 11 Marine Terminals and 4 rail ramps. Mr. Peltier has personally managed both, the operations and budgets of the logistics and maintenance and repair for nearly 50,000 chassis in 7 pools in the western US.
