This past week, many of our members attended the National Custom Brokers & Forwarders Association of America’s annual meeting. Some traveled to be in Fort Lauderdale, others participated virtually. It was a toe in the water of returning to trade events after a fourteen month hiatus that began, most notably, with the last-minute cancellation of the JOC’s TPM Conference even with speakers and attendees already in Long Beach. As more people are vaccinated and California (hopefully!) continues to stay low, we may start to see the beginning of the return to in-person congregating and communing that we’ve all missed so much.
